Anne Hölck

*1970 in Kiel, Germany, is scenographer and works at theaters in Germany, France and Switzerland, she lives in Berlin. Besides her theater work she realizes exhibition projects, project seminars and lectures in the field of Human-Animal Studies with an emphasis on spatial and artistic research. She studied fine art, art education and art science at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin before she started her theater work with a set design assistence at Schaubühne Berlin (1999-2002). In 2008 she received a Master s degree in »Art in Context« at Universität der Künste Berlin focusing on Artistic Museum and Curatorial Studies. In 2006 she became board member of Meinblau e.V. / Studio and Art House Berlin and engaged in the planing and realization of art projects. Since 2012 she is a member of Chimaira AK, a researcher network in the field of Human-Animal Studies, and co-edited with them the anthology »Tiere Bilder Ökonomien. Aktuelle Forschungsfragen der Human-Animal Studies« (»Animals Images Economies. Current debates in Human-Animal Studies«) (transcript 2013). we , animals is her curatorial pilot project in the context of human-animal relations.
