The exhibition showed artistic visions of human-animal relations in immediate and distant future. Welcomed by Lucy Powell s video animated talking cat heads one entered the hall. Their voices localise intelligence and feeling in unknown time and bodies. The exhibition space then was transformed by NEOZOON into a research laboratory in which an unknown species was the subject of a re-animation-experiment. The way to the upper gallery was enlighted by Uli Westphal s digital collages of standard packaging design motives. Endless, ever repeating, utopian sceneries that stand in harsh contrast to the origin of the food products. While donata kindesperk s drawings created a diachronic storyboard of human-ape transformations on the wall, the video-documentary of Sin Kabeza explored authentic co-evolutionary relationships of streetdogs and human beings, companion species in culture life.
